YouTube has followed up its Cosmic Panda desktop user interface redesign with one for mobile iOS devices as well. Like the desktop UI, this one has to be enabled by visiting a special mobile site from an iOS device running iOS 4 or 5. The new design uses darker colors with videos placed against dark toolbars and buttons. The redesign is still experimental, however, as saving it to the iPhone 4's home screen won't result in a Retina-optimized icon or full-screen web app....
